Something my kid ruined
Saturday, January 29th, 2011There’s a highly entertaining website (and now a book, too) called Sh*t My Kids Ruined. Luckly, our kids have caused minimal damage to our possessions over the years – but we did have a casualty this weekend, when Avery reached for, and broke my, hand-painted, glass butter dish. It’s just a butter dish, I know, but I was displeased: It’s not easily replaceable (I bought it at an art fair), and the hand-painted polka dots made me very happy! Still, Q (ever the optimistic) said this gives me another excuse to shop. And when I look at that website and see the damage done by other kids, I know we’ve gotten off easy.
