Avery’s list
“Wow – look how many words Zoe knew when she was Avery’s age,” I commented to Q after coming across an old blog entry the other day. “If you make a list for Avery, I bet you’d be surprised,” said Q – and so I did. And so I was! While Avery has been a bit less verbal (though no less communicative) than Zoe was at a toddler, she can say more words than I had given her credit for. And one of these days, she’ll be able to say a word her sister didn’t know until much, much older. “Sister.”
