With Zoe at running practice until 5 today, Avery and I had a bit of alone time after school. Not wanting to go home just to return an hour or so later, we wound up taking a long walk (hand-in-hand) around school, stopping to admire the flowers, pick up pine cones and read together. It was a beautiful, spring-like day, and I loved spending uninterrupted time with her.
