Blind playdate
Over the weekend, Avery had a pre-kindergarten playdate with two of her future classmates. As expected, she was pretty quiet and shy during introductions – but after a bit of time, she warmed up and began to play. And she must have enjoyed herself, because she told me on the way home, “I love those girls.”
Oh, and something kinda fun: Her playdate was at the same spot as Zoe’s two years ago. (And of course I had to take a photo, like I did with Zoe, to mark the occasion.)
