My best friend, Angela, is always commenting on the funny things her little niece says and does – and she’s said more than once that we have a lot of fun stories to look forward to. I actually think Zoe might be entering that fun-story age; not long ago, she entertained us with her beeping, and last night she made us laugh over a little milk incident. I was wiping up some milk (courtesy of Zoe’s sippy cup) from the family-room floor, and I said to a watching Zoe, “Say bye-bye to the milk.” Zoe immediately jumped up, ran into the kitchen and started waving and saying “bye-bye” to the refrigerator, where she, of course, knows we keep the milk. When I realized what she was doing, I gave her a huge hug and shared a big laugh with Q. It’s one of the cutest (and funniest) things she’s done to date, I think.
