“I look like a mommy!”
Wednesday, February 16th, 2011It’s cold (well, relatively cold) here, so I suggested Zoe wear a sweater to school today. She requested a zip-up one, so I plucked from her dresser a cream-colored hoodie that zips up, along with a pair of skinny jeans. It was a new outfit for her (she hasn’t worn the sweater in awhile, and this was her first time in the jeans), and when she looked at herself in the mirror, she broke into a big smile and said, “I look like a mommy!” I had to laugh, too: She did look somewhat mommy-like, and it made me happy that this made her happy!
