Riding around

Thursday, April 9th, 2015

The weather has been very spring-like here, and we took advantage of the sun by taking the girls out on a little bike ride recently.

Silly dance

Wednesday, April 8th, 2015

The girls were fooling around one day and wound up doing a dance for me. The dance is silly and a bit repetitive, and I suspect the video will be the perfect thing to embarrass them with someday. So, in other words, it’s a keeper. :)

Crunch, crunch

Monday, April 6th, 2015

Matzah, which the girls are eating a lot of this week, is extremely crumbly and messy – so much so that we asked the girls to sit at the table when eating it. Imagine my surprise, then, when I came across the girls doing this on Saturday. (They were having so much fun, crunching and munching in supposed secret, that I couldn’t get mad.)

Apple Fools Day

Thursday, April 2nd, 2015

So the girls were very into April Fools’ Day yesterday. I tricked Zoe early (there was a power outage at the school and classes were cancelled, I told her when she first woke up), and she got me, too (“I have bad news, Mommy – there’s a rip in my backpack”). But when she got home from school she came up with all sorts of other ways to trick me and Q. I heard “April Fools!” so many times by 8 PM that I was very ready for her to go to bed.

Avery, in the meanwhile, kept calling it Apple Fools’ Day – so her dad jokingly told her it would be followed by Banana Fools’ Day, Orange Fools’ Day, etc… Not sure she bought it, though.
