We had just got done watching American Idol, I remember, and I was going to put off taking a test because it was getting late and I was\u00c2\u00a0feeling tired. But\u00c2\u00a0Q suggested I take one &#8211; it wouldn&#8217;t take long, he said &#8211; and so we found out. I wasn&#8217;t initially super excited, I remember; I felt more nervous and freaked out than anything. It took about a week for it to stop feeling totally surreal and odd &#8211; but it took many, months to feel even remotely ready for the baby.<\/p>\n<p>If I had known then what I know now &#8211; that Zoe would be the most amazing person I&#8217;ve ever met, and she would make us feel utterly, deliriously happy &#8211; I would have jumped for joy the second I found out I was pregnant. The journey we&#8217;ve been on this past year has been so amazing, and it&#8217;s been great fun\u00c2\u00a0to watch Zoe grow from the size of a sesame seed to the big girl below!
