{"id":25524,"date":"2017-08-31T11:08:01","date_gmt":"2017-08-31T19:08:01","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.zoe.browdy.net\/?p=25524"},"modified":"2017-08-31T11:09:29","modified_gmt":"2017-08-31T19:09:29","slug":"edinburgh","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.zoe.browdy.net\/?p=25524","title":{"rendered":"Edinburgh"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The last leg of our trip was to Edinburgh (another new city for us); we were there both to hang out again with Safta and PopPop and to experience the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.edfringe.com\/\">Festival Fringe<\/a>, the world&#8217;s largest arts festival.<\/p>\n<p>Along with seeing some good shows (including a kind of bizarre, but impressive, Korean musical about monkeys and an amazing performance by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cirque-eloize.com\/en\/\">Cirque Eloize<\/a>), we explored the <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Royal_Mile\">Royal Mile<\/a>, visited the <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Edinburgh_Castle\">Edinburgh Castle<\/a> and saw <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Edinburgh\">the street<\/a> that inspired JK Rowling to write the Harry Potter books.<\/p>\n<p>We hopped on a plane and headed home after three days there.
