To say life has changed since our <a href=\"http:\/\/www.zoe.browdy.net\/?p=3\">very first blog entry<\/a> would be an understatement &#8211; back then we were breathlessly awaiting the arrival of\u00c2\u00a0our baby\u00c2\u00a0(&#8220;This is crunch time and we are all getting very excited,&#8221; Q <a href=\"http:\/\/www.zoe.browdy.net\/?p=9\">wrote<\/a> on Oct. 27, 2006); these days we&#8217;re busy chasing after and managing the lives of two spirited young girls. Q and I have been parents for nearly 3,000 days, and I&#8217;m so proud that we&#8217;ve chronicled our adventures here. As I <a href=\"http:\/\/www.zoe.browdy.net\/?p=11457\">wrote<\/a> in 2012:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>For me, five-plus years after starting this thing, I can\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t really imagine life without it.\u00c2\u00a0Posting quickly became part of my daily routine, and\u00c2\u00a0the blog, in turn,\u00c2\u00a0wound up serving not only as a\u00c2\u00a0 bridge to loved ones far away, but also as\u00c2\u00a0a journal, a confidante, and (perhaps most significant to my kids someday) a rich family archive.\u00c2\u00a0Writing in it has\u00c2\u00a0saved my sanity countless times, and reading\u00c2\u00a0old entries has brought me out of a dark mood more than once; though I probably can\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t be called a new mom anymore (something that is simultaneously a badge of honor and a little sad), blogging\u00c2\u00a0<em>still<\/em> helps my well-being!<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Here&#8217;s to 2,500 more!<\/p>\n<p>-M<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Today marks a milestone for our little blog, as this is our 2,500th post!
