Which is why, perhaps, I&#8217;m getting such a kick of watching Avery&#8217;s blossoming friendships with so many girls from school and camp. (&#8220;I only like <em>ghouls<\/em> &#8211; not boys,&#8221; she has told me more than once.) Over the last few months, she has gotten super close to several\u00c2\u00a0female classmates\u00c2\u00a0&#8211; and we&#8217;ve had two\u00c2\u00a0outings with\u00c2\u00a0such friends\u00c2\u00a0recently (first at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.zoe.browdy.net\/?p=17140\">Fairyland<\/a> and most recently at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.zoe.browdy.net\/?p=17233\">Gilroy Gardens<\/a>).
