{"id":12771,"date":"2012-05-14T10:00:12","date_gmt":"2012-05-14T18:00:12","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.zoe.browdy.net\/?p=12771"},"modified":"2012-05-13T18:33:26","modified_gmt":"2012-05-14T02:33:26","slug":"three-girls-and-99-bottles","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.zoe.browdy.net\/?p=12771","title":{"rendered":"Three girls and 99 bottles"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Yesterday morning Zoe presented me with a Mother&#8217;s Day card she had made at school; inside, next to a picture she had drawn of me, it said, &#8220;I love my mommy because she sings me 99 Bottles sometimes and I really like it.&#8221; I was both amused and touched that <em>that<\/em> was the thing she highlighted &#8211; amused because I wondered what her teachers thought of my choice of lullabye, and touched because I used to sing that song to her when she was <a href=\"http:\/\/www.zoe.browdy.net\/?p=2249\">two<\/a>\u00c2\u00a0and she still remembers!<\/p>\n<p>Later that day, after\u00c2\u00a0a fun morning out (see below), Avery was overtired and in need of some extra attention at naptime. I sat with her and bounced on the bed and when she asked for a song I wound up singing\u00c2\u00a099 Bottles\u00c2\u00a0&#8211; something I haven&#8217;t done in quite some time.
