It&#8217;s a difficult thing for me to wrap my head around: Though I remember like it was yesterday when Zoe <a href=\"http:\/\/www.zoe.browdy.net\/?p=2643\">walked into<\/a> our\u00c2\u00a0hospital room in her Big Sister shirt, carrying four pink balloons (and later, holding her sister), in my mind she was somehow older, taller,\u00c2\u00a0and more mature than Avery is now.\u00c2\u00a0And I can&#8217;t <em>imagine<\/em> having a demanding\u00c2\u00a0newborn\u00c2\u00a0at home\u00c2\u00a0&#8211; not when Avery\u00c2\u00a0still needs us so much\u00c2\u00a0(&#8220;C&#8217;mon,&#8221; she&#8217;ll say to us, grabbing and pulling on our index finger) and still does things like put her hands up, look at me with big eyes and say, &#8220;Baby up, Mommy.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Avery may be an active, verbal and now potty-trained (yea!) preschooler, but &#8211; either\u00c2\u00a0because of birth order or personality, or both\u00c2\u00a0-\u00c2\u00a0I still consider her my\u00c2\u00a0baby.
