{"id":10690,"date":"2011-11-10T15:34:17","date_gmt":"2011-11-10T23:34:17","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.zoe.browdy.net\/?p=10690"},"modified":"2011-11-10T15:36:57","modified_gmt":"2011-11-10T23:36:57","slug":"avery-stories-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.zoe.browdy.net\/?p=10690","title":{"rendered":"Avery stories"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I recently shared a few <a href=\"http:\/\/www.zoe.browdy.net\/?p=10204\">Zoe stories<\/a>; now it&#8217;s time for some from Avery.<\/p>\n<p>-I often use terms of endearment (&#8220;honey,&#8221; &#8220;sweetie,&#8221; etc.) with the girls &#8211; but when I used a new one and called Avery &#8220;pumpkin&#8221; the other day, she wrinkled up her nose at me. &#8220;I not Pumpkin!&#8221; she cried out. &#8220;My name Avery!&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>-When I went to tuck her into bed last night, Avery handed me something and asked me to take &#8220;baby ball.&#8221; The object she put in my hand? A marble.<\/p>\n<p>-A few weeks ago, Avery started to run into Zoe&#8217;s classroom every day at pick-up, peek into her cubby and ask &#8220;Where challah?&#8221; After a few days of being told Zoe doesn&#8217;t get a loaf of bread every day (only on Fridays) it sunk in.
